Providing Rehabilitation Services, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care

Short & Long-Term Rehabilitation

Often, after a serious event like joint replacement, stroke, or a serious accident, a short period of rehabilitation and skilled nursing care is required to bring about a recovery that allows you to return to the lifestyle you knew before.

We understand this can be a difficult period for you and your family – there’s concern, worry, even depression. It’s why you’ll find an in-house staff that’s always responsive and ready to address your needs, offering hope and compassion, as they lead you on your journey to recovery.

After establishing an individualized care plan with you, your family and your physician, our physical therapists will work with you on regaining lower body mobility. Our occupational therapists will address your upper body strength, readying you to independently resume managing the activities of daily living, while our speech therapists address communication and relearning speech and swallowing issues so you can take proper nutrition.

An entire floor is devoted to short-term patients and, as part of our family, all the Pines of Sarasota’s activity amenities are available. In addition to state-of-the-art treatment techniques and equipment like the Aquatic Therapy Pool – the only one in the area – available in the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Rehabilitation Center, and the Manser Family Rehabilitation Center with its ‘bounce back’ apartment for readying you to return home, it’s no surprise that Pines of Sarasota is a favorite for doctors in our community issuing rehabilitation orders.

Space is limited. If you know in advance you’ll need post-operative rehabilitation, we suggest you take advantage of our pre-registration process. Please call (941) 365-0250 to pre-register.
