PRESS RELEASE

Sarasota, FL: On August 11, Pines of Sarasota Rehabilitation and Senior Care Community hosted Annual Centenarian Celebration Tea Party.

Pines of Sarasota is home to 12 lovely ladies who have exceeded that magic age of 100! This is such a monumental number of centenarians residing at one senior care campus that the J.M. Smucker’s Company and the TODAY Show featured the group August 24th.

It was hard to imagine that as many as 12 would share the same home. At Pines of Sarasota, we attribute our large number of centenarians to the compassionate care and innovative activities that are a part of our residents’ daily lives…and, of course, the ladies’ good genes!

“Our centenarian ladies are such a vivacious group; they are part of what makes Pines such a special place,” says John Overton. “I wonder if their spirited attitudes are part of the reason why they’ve achieved this distinction?”
